Keresztelő Szent János Church, Balatonberény

The church, presumably built around 1350, is one of the few remaining examples of Hungarian Gothic architecture. In the church garden you can find the statue of St. Vendel, the patron saint of shepherds and peasants. You can also visit the Lourdes Cave, inaugurated in 1993, which is located in the northern part of the church garden.
