St Ilona Chapel, Gyenesdiás

The only chapel built in honour of St. Ilona tells a story of the Festetics family. György Festetics rejected the request of the locals to build a church, but after his death his son László not only gave the permission, but also contributed to its completion together with his wife and his daughter, Ilona. The equipment of the chapel was donated by the two ladies.
