Jakab Badacsony

An organic winery on the outskirts of Nemesgulács, halfway between Badacsony and Tapolca, right next to the main road. From spring to autumn, our wine shop welcomes guests for a glass of wine or a cup of coffee. Besides our wines, we also have a sparkling water machine, so if you are simply looking for a hydration stop, a place to rest in a shaded, air-conditioned space, you are more than welcome here. For guests arriving by bike, we have created a small bicycle storage area that can be easily kept an eye on, either from inside or outside. Although our little village is so peaceful that this is probably not even necessary. Our winery’s flagship grape variety is Pinot Noir, which we craft into a range of styles, from sparkling wine and white wine to several types of red wine. We also work with local rarities such as Kéknyelű and Vulcanus. We warmly welcome everyone – we are cyclists too! We speak Hungarian and English, and if our viticulturist is around, German as well.
