King Christ Church

After the Turkish invasion Balatonfüred remained without a Catholic church until the 20th century. It was not until 1918 that the parish was re-established here, and soon the community outgrew several temporary premises and decided to build a permanent church. As a result the red church, designed by Gáspár Fábián in neo-Romanesque style, has been standing here since 1927.
