Swabian Houses

The old village of Hidegkút has a special atmosphere. Ancient Swabian houses are standing side by side here, from which ethnic German families having German as their native language were expelled in 1948. Some have returned since then, but the tidy houses also remind us of those who never returned. And today's inhabitants of the small village are forever grateful to those who once lived here - they appreciate not only their architectural but also their cultural heritage.
