Széchenyi Castle

If you already visited the modest building of Kulipintyó in Balatonföldvár, the hunting lodge of the same owner, Zsigmond Széchenyi, will definitely not disappoint. The ancestors of the famous owner had a house built for the steward of the estate around the end of the 18th century, into which Zsigmond Széchenyi moved in 1923 and brought there many souvenirs of his travels to Africa. Today the building is beautifully renovated and is standing as a private residence in the park, surrounded by ancient trees.
