Lavender Field of Tihany

In a street with the stylish name Levendula utca (Lavender Street) you may find one of the many beautiful lavender gardens of the Tihany Peninsula. Walking through the plantation, you can spot Külső-tó, a lake inside the peninsula, and enjoy the tranquil, friendly scenery. In summertime, you can also pick some lavender flowers - in addition to using it as air freshening perfume, the flowers can also add a nice touch to your tea or cake.
