The former Festetics residence

Summer residence of Sándor Festetics (1882-1956), politician, defence minister and diplomat, who came from the Dégh branch of the Festetics family of Tolna. Built in 1931 in eclectic neo-baroque style, the single-storey holiday chateau has an ornate baroque entrance, wrought-iron balconies and shutters on its windows. The building is surrounded by a small park. It used to be operated as a castle hotel.
