Introduction

You can get a peek into both the house and studio of painter Lajos Kunffy in Somogytúr when visiting the two historical buildings of the memorial museum. The two Baroque stone vases resting on the main columns of the entrance to the former manor house indicate that you are entering the property of a genuine Hungarian noble family. You can learn a lot about this remarkable painter's life and work and admire the artist's outstanding works in the studio building.
