A tihanyi Somosi Szabadstrand egy 90 méter hosszú, keskeny betonsávos fürdőhely, amely a Gödrösi strand kisebb, nyugodtabb alternatívája. Három lépcső vezet a Balatonba, öltözőparaván és hulladékgyűjtők állnak rendelkezésre. Mosdó, büfé és parkoló az út túloldalán található. Busszal Füred felől óránként elérhető, a bringakörút közvetlenül mellette halad, autóval kőzúzalékos parkolóról közelíthető meg.
