Introduction

You can easily spend a couple of hours on a guided tour of the open-air museum which was originally a manor. But it is not worth saving time on the visit, because when you walk among the Classicist manor house, the former servants' quarters and the various farm buildings, you can almost visualize how bread was baked, how servants looked after the animals, how women used to make the famous Endréd lace. Time travel at its best.
