Description
1. Route description, explanation of signs
The trail numbers on this tour are: 242, 247, the tour is marked as red M. Low-traffic public roads: 5.3 km, forestry roads: 6.2 km. The dashed line indicates an unpaved road.

2. Difficulty factors in the tour
The paved path to Kis Hill is a short but rather demanding section of the tour, with a steep climb of about 500 metres.

3. Ambience
Paloznak and its surroundings are hidden far away from the hustle and bustle of tourists, sometimes even unknown to experienced Balaton visitors, because these villages that are located north of the main road can only be reached by a detour. A bit further away from the lake shore, but still in the halo of Lake Balaton, you can certainly find a variety of sights around here! You can come across treasures that genuinely depict this landscape which has been inhabited for centuries. During the 12-kilometer round trip you may find treasures of folk architecture, industrial monuments and remarkable castles, but one of the highlights is certainly Király-kút, a famous spring on the outskirts of Felsőörs. More than just seeing the landscape, you can also feel it: tasting local wines, observing nature or follow an educational trail to the end, you can establish a real relationship with this friendly landscape of Mediterranean flair.

4. Detailed tour description
The starting point is the town centre of Paloznak, which can be reached in a few minutes from the Balaton Cycling Circuit. The route starts on the old Roman road, a low-traffic paved country road running between vineyards in the direction of Csopak. On the way you can admire the beautiful view of the Balaton. Once in Csopak, turn towards Kis Hill, and a 2 km gradual climb follows. Once you have overcome this stretch, a beautiful, almost flat forest path takes you to the Király-kút spring. Passing the spring, cycle through the Malom valley down to the village of Lovas along a splendid stream lined with rocks. Once in the village, you reach a 200-year-old mill, which now serves as accommodation and a restaurant. To eat and drink at this authentic place, a reservation in advance is required by calling (87) 447 210.
Further along the route, in the centre of Lovas you can enjoy a delicious spritzer or snack at the Lovas Kikötő Bistro.
From there, the route follows the old Roman road via Paloznak to Csopak. Along this ancient road you can admire the amazing view of Lake Balaton while cycling through the historic Füred-Csopak wine region.
In the Szomszéd Kertje gastropub in Csopak you can enjoy excellent cuisine in the garden lounge.
If you continue on the Roman road after completing this round tour, you will get to Balatonfüred.

Nekem tetszett. Mivel nem túl hosszú érdemes lehet letérni a csopaki Csákány-hegyi kilátó felé amit tábla jelez és csak 1200 m-re van és nem lekűzdhetetlen az emelkedő sem.
